Fenerbahçe complete signing of Mason Greenwood
Olympique de Marseille have confirmed the sale of forward Mason Greenwood to Turkish side Fenerbahçe.
The 24-year-old joins the club for a reported fee of €39 million, with 40% of that going to former club Manchester United who will then move 20% on to Getafe, where Greenwood spent the 2023/24 campaign on loan.
Greenwood came through the academy at Manchester United but was suspended by the club due to his arrest for rape, assault, and coercive control – a case that was later dropped due to 'withdrawal of key witnesses' and 'new material',
The one-time England international then moved to Marseille in the summer of 2024 where he went on to 81 times for the French side, contributing 48 goals and making 16 assists.
