The FCIAC boys ice hockey final between New Canaan and Darien at Sacred Heart University's Martire Family Arena has been postponed due to Tuesday's winter weather and the possibility of slippery roads.

The game has been rescheduled for 7 p.m.,Wednesday, at SHU.

Darien and New Canaan public schools are closed due to the weather

New Canaan and Darien are the top two teams in the GametimeCT Top 10 Poll, with the Rams having taken over the No. 1 spot last week after defeating the No. 2 Blue Wave 6-2 in the regular season finale. New Canaan also won an early-season meeting with Darien 5-3.

The Rams are bidding for their third straight FCIAC championship after beating Ridgefield the in the final the past two seasons, including 4-1 last year. Darien last won an FCIAC crown in 2023.
