Aaron Rodgers has come under fire for allegedly financing a police surveillance program in a town in New Jersey.
Rodgers has long been critical of the media and fans for not allowing him the privacy he feels entitled to as a human being.
However, with Rodgers now being linked to a surveillance program in the New Jersey town he resides in, fans are calling him out for not respecting the privacy of others.

Aaron Rodgers facing backlash for alleged funding of police surveillance program
Independent NFL journalist David Covucci recently reported that Aaron Rodgers has allegedly been funding the local police’s purchase of “Flock-style license plate cameras” in Cedar Grove, New Jersey.
He added that Rodgers allegedly used an LLC to fund the police department’s purchase, which could have allowed him to stay anonymous.
Fans on social media have not reacted well to this alleged revelation about Rodgers. One fan wrote, “Aaron Rodgers is an awful human being…”
Another fan went even further, saying, “One of the worst people in the NFL is also a terrible human in general? Who would’ve thought?”
A third fan predicted Rodgers’ reaction to this story, noting, “Oh, he’s gonna absolutely hate that this story got out.”
“He is now immunised from prosecution,” joked a fourth fan, taking a dig at Rodgers’ previous comments against the COVID-19 vaccine.
One fan was incredibly angry about these allegations, writing, “This m———- is such a menace to society. An intellectually bankrupt, lunatic wingnut. He’s gone.”
And finally, a fan summed up how ridiculous Rodgers’ comments look in the context of this news, noting, “’Free thinker’ and ‘rebel’ spent his summer following an Achilles tear helping to personally fund the surveillance state in North Jersey in between appearances on the Pat McAfee show.”
Rodgers had previously complained about fans trying to use drones to spy on him during an appearance on the Pat McAfee show back in 2025.
“It’s a sick society, isn’t it? What is [it with] the entitlement to information that we’re living in society these days?”
For Rodgers to complain about his privacy being disrespected by fans, only to turn around and allegedly invest in surveillance technology for the police, is incredibly hypocritical, if it is true.
