The District 10 baseball playoffs were full of big-time performances and exciting finishes. District 10 crowned six champions, with five No. 1 seeds winning it all along with a No. 2 seed.

Fans can vote for the D-10 baseball MVP from the six options below. The poll is located below the list of candidates and will run until noon on Thursday.

Kyle Gilson, West Middlesex – Gilson tossed 13 dominant innings to beat Cochranton in the semifinals and Rocky Grove in the D-10 Class 1A final. He struck out 11 and allowed one hit in six shutout innings against Cochranton before striking out seven and allowing one earned run in a 3-hitter in the D-10 championship.

Hunter Krahe, Mercyhurst Prep – Tossed two quality starts to lead the Lakers to the District 10 Class 2A championship. Krahe started with nine strikeouts in a two-hit shutout in a 2-0 win over Sharpsville in the quarterfinals. He then struck out five and allowed one run in a two-hitter as the Lakers beat Saegertown 9-1 in the D-10 championship.

Luke Rzodkiewicz, Fairview – Had a hand in all three of Fairview's playoff wins with quality innings on the mound. He had two hits, drove in a run and allowed just three hits in 1 2/3 innings in a 3-1 win over Conneaut in the quarterfinals before allowing just one unearned run in 3 2/3 innings to get the win in an 11-1 win over Titusville in the semifinals. Rzodkiewicz then drove in the only run of the game and tossed a three-inning save in a 1-0 win over Sharon in the D-10 3A final.

Jordan Cannon, General McLane – Cannon had a double and drove in a run in a 4-3 win over Hickory in the D-10 4A semifinals. He also shut down the Hornets over the final three innings to earn the save. Cannon then allowed one hit in six shutout innings against Cathedral Prep to get the win and give the Lancers their first D-10 title since 2001.

AJ Feleppa, Meadville – Feleppa struck out five in a five-hit shutout as Meadville beat Warren 2-0 for the District 10 5A championship. Feleppa also had one hit and walked once in the win.

Colton Orlando, McDowell – As the leadoff hitter, Orlando had a big day at the plate as McDowell beat Erie 12-2 for the District 10 Class 6A championship. He went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, one walk, one stolen base and he scored three times for the Trojans.
