Fanatics Flag Football Event Relocating to Los Angeles

The Fanatics Flag Football Classic event will be relocating to Los Angeles after it was originally planned to be played in the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Due to the ongoing war in the Middle East, the event will now be hosted at BMO Stadium, according to a report from The Athletic.

The flag football event was initially scheduled for March 21. However, the official date for the event is still being determined. Both MLS’s Los Angeles FC and the NWSL’s Angel City FC have road games on March 21. Therefore, neither team will be using the stadium on the original date on the flag football event.

Multiple NFL Stars Are Set to Participate in Flag Football Event​

Las Vegas Raiders minority owner and seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady announced he would be participating as a quarterback in the event in September. Brady’s long-time teammate and four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski is also set to participate in the event.

In addition to the retired NFL veterans, 2024 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels will participate in the event. Comedian Kevin Hart was slated to host the event.

Now, that the flag football event is taking place in the United States. There could be more NFL stars and celebrities that will make an appearance at the three-team, round-robin event.
