That quote will come back to haunt Graves if he doesn't improve the team this year. If the Cardinals endure a worse record this season, that quote doesn't offer Graves the excuse later on of this being a rebuilding year for the Cardinals. Graves has the right to ask for patience, but the fans have a right to ask for accountablity from the Cardinal organization this season if Graves doesn't deliver an improved team this year.
