A new poll released this offseason has given the Atlanta Falcons some respect for their interior offensive line.

NFL Coaches and executives ranked the Top 10 NFL interior offensive linemen, and Falcons guard Chris Lindstrom came in at 6th. He was beaten out by Tyler Smith (Dallas Cowboys), Quenton Nelson (Indianapolis Colts), Creed Humphrey (Kansas City Chiefs), Quinn Meinerz (Denver Broncos) and Joe Thuney (Chicago Bears).

According to one of the voters, Lindstrom has "Athleticism and explosiveness -- his size makes him somewhat of a specific scheme fit, but there really isn't anyone who does a lot of the things that he can do," an NFL coordinator said. "They never ask him to pull, but he would open some eyes if he did."

Although Atlanta has struggled during the time that he has been in the organization, the former 2019 first-round pick has been one of the most reliable pieces on the entire roster, let alone the offensive line.

Over the last four seasons, Lindstrom has been one of the best inside the entire NFL when discussing interior offensive linemen. Maybe six is considered too low for a player that has gone to four consecutive Pro Bowls.

Over the last two seasons, Lindstrom led the Falcons' offensive line, helping star running back Bijan Robinson reach nearly 1,500 yards rushing in 2024 and 2025. Assisting Robinson in earning his first two Pro Bowl selections as well as a fourth-place finish in Offensive Player of the Year this past season

Another NFL defensive coach stated, "He doesn't get enough recognition; he's been really good for a long time."

Having a player like Lindstrom is super underrated for an organization looking to bounce back in 2026. With Kevin Stefanski as the new head coach, who does rely on a run-heavy scheme, Lindstrom should yet again flourish under the new regime.

And with Matt Ryan and the Falcons' front office investing heavily in their offensive weapon cornerstones such as Drake London and Kyle Pitts, as well as a looming quarterback battle heading into the first week of the season, consistency on the offensive line has never been more important.

The rest of the list for the top ten interior linemen consists of Trey Smith (Chiefs), Tyler Linderbaum (Las Vegas Raiders), and Aaron Brewer (Miami Dolphins).
