Anyone else here notice that the so-called experts sounded the death knell for the running game (i.e. "the NFL is a passing league") but suddenly there are a mess of teams with "dominating running attacks")?

What's up with that?

That is why the game is cyclical. The defenses in the league are so small, and fast, that a 230lbs running back and large offensive line can just cut through it.

The best example of this, is last year when the Cardinals played the Bills. The Bills just simply dominated the run game. Bucanon and Minter where not just getting blocked, but blown off their feet in that game.

Running the ball will come back, and when defenses bulk up to stop the run, then the pass will come back into fashion.

the issue with the inside linebacker core is solved actually
but wasnt the only issue
they were terrible at taclking too, many missed tackles i noted
i dont think there was a cornerback duo in the league worst then cardinals tackling
plus our safeties, even if they did offer a solid contribute versus the run ,they were a huge liability in the deep coverage

He ought to fit in nicely into that spiraling locker room that Carroll always seems to passively create.
