Lynn Williams is an unremarkable 5ft 7in, yet she is likely to be the American expected to fill the biggest boots in women's football when Megan Rapinoe retires. Left at home for last year's World Cup, she had mixed emotions watching her compatriots conquer the world for a fourth time. Williams has often played ahead of Rapinoe under new manager Vlatko Andonovski, scoring five goals with five assists since the Macedonian-American replaced Jill Ellis last year.
