San Francisco Giants star Rafael Devers
The Boston Red Sox cut ties with superstar slugger Rafael Devers a year ago and it sounds like he's available again for a team to try to make a move.
On Monday, ESPN's Buster Olney reported that the San Francisco Giants are "open to offers" for Devers, along with shortstop Willy Adames and third baseman Matt Chapman, among others.
"The Giants are open to offers for their three highest-paid position players — Rafael Devers, Willy Adames, Matt Chapman — among other obvious trade candidates, like Luis Arraez and Robbie Ray," Olney wrote.

This is a wild development after one of the most shocking mid-season trades in recent memory across the league. The Red Sox traded Devers to the Giants last June after there was drama with the franchise centered around his position with the team, after Alex Bregman came over and signed with the team and then eventually after Triston Casas got hurt.

Boston is a team that needs power and someone who has had clear success at Fenway Park is not out there for the taking. Imagine how wild a reunion would be? It shouldn't be considered likely, but it would solve a lot of problems.
