Shocking news out of Green Bay Tuesday as Packers running back Josh Jacobs arrested on five very serious charges stemming from an alleged domestic violence incident over the weekend.

According to the report, Jacobs has been arrested on five charges including battery/domestic abuse, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, strangulation, and intimidation of a victim.

Jacobs is entering his eighth NFL season out of Alabama. He was originally the 24th overall pick by the Oakland Raiders in 2019 NFL Draft.

He spent five seasons with the Raiders, first in Oakland and then in Las Vegas. This included the 2022 season in which he led the NFL with 1653 yards rushing. He would spend one more season in Las Vegas in 2024 before he left as a free agent to sign with the Packers.

Jacobs returned to the Pro Bowl last season, his third in the NFL after having made two as a member of the Raiders.

These charges are obviously very serious and you'd have to figure they will lead to not just legal troubles, but also discipline from the NFL which usually comes in the form of fines and suspension.
