One of the fiercest rivalries in women's basketball will take center stage in a few days when former LSU women's basketball star Angel Reese takes on Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. The Atlanta Dream and Fever play in Indianapolis on June 4 at 6:00 p.m. CT.
The rivalry between Reese and Clark dates back to their collegiate careers. Both took center stage as the popularity of women's basketball began to skyrocket. Reese got the best of Clark when LSU beat Iowa in the 2023 national championship game, but Clark got revenge when Iowa eliminated LSU in the Elite 8 in 2024.
Meanwhile, Reese and the Dream have the best record in the Eastern Conference with a 5-2 mark, one game ahead of the Fever at 4-3.
Reese is averaging a double-double, with 13.1 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. She's adding 1.0 blocks per night, too.
The June 4 meeting will be the first of three games between the Dream and Fever in June. The squads are set to play again on June 18 and June 20.
