You know there will be have and have nots in this somehow.

They are blaming tanking on the poor product on the floor, but interest is down for many people and I’m not sure it’s because the teams like the jazz or pacers are bad. The NBA has just not been enjoyable to watch.

Teams will still tank. They will simply play up to the line so to speak, then make sure they don't get in by tanking to stay below that line. It makes it a tad more complex and teams will try to win a bit more but tanking will occur just the same. It seems like there are about 5 to 10 teams blatantly tanking it right now. I don't know how the NBA solves this. Most of the rumored ideas out there from the league don't seem like they will make much of a dent. It sucks for fans of those teams.

I came here to post this. When it happened last night I was incredulous, I thought they made a mistake. But then Azabuike on the Warriors telecast said are they trying to lose on purpose?

Draymond is calling for the NBA to fine the Kings he said when I do something I get fined, when I say something, I get fined. They fouled a great foul shooter on purpose in a 1 point game, fine them.

Option 1 has gained the most momentum:

- 18 teams in lottery: Bottom 10 that miss Play-In and 8 that qualify
- Bottom 10 teams each have 8% chance of moving up in lottery
- Other 8 teams split 20% odds of moving up
- All 18 spots drawn as part of lottery
