ESPN Mock had some strange picks

They had a strange run on DB's in Round One - Eugene Wilson, Sammy Davis, Julian Battle. They also had LJ Smith going to Philly (I saw that rumor earlier today) and Calico going in the first round. They had Faine going as early as #17.

Pasquarelli and Clayton are as plugged in to GM's as anyone in the media, so it will be interesting to see whether they're right-on or far off-base compared to other media gurus.

It should also be fun to see if the herd mentality phenominon kicks in and subsequent mocks conform more closely to Clayton/Pasquarelli.

And though I am a proponent of picking up good offensive linemen, why in the hell would NO pick Faine when they drafted Bentley last year?

Tennesse loves Calico and wants to slide into the second, adding picks and take him. Bentley has been moved to guard, Faine would play center where Fontenot isn't expected to be resigned. That has the makings of one NASTY OL.

I think in several instances where media insiders have a team taking a player at a certain position, if the team is serious about that player and he represents a reach, the team will move down in order to select that player at a better value-spot.
