The Denver Broncos are expected to select a running back in the 2025 NFL draft, and we now know the names of five prospects the team has been monitoring.

In his recent story on Denver's search for a running back, ESPN's Jeff Legwold specifically mentioned TreVeyon Henderson, Dylan Sampson, Trevor Etienne, LeQuint Allen and Cam Skattebo as prospects who are "on the Broncos' radar."

Legwold mentioned that Ashton Jeanty will likely be off the board well before Denver goes on the clock at No. 20, but he curiously did not mention Omarion Hampton, perhaps because he was focusing on non-first-round prospects.

NFL.com has the five mentioned running backs projected as follows: Henderson (Round 2), Sampson (Rounds 2-3), Trevor Etienne (Rounds 3-4), Skattebo (Round 4) and Allen (Rounds 4-5).

It should be noted that this is not an exhaustive list of the only running backs the Broncos are considering in this year's draft. It seems to merely be a sample of some of the backs Denver has looked at this spring.

Stay tuned. The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin, from April 24-26.
