The Alabama Crimson Tide will enter the NCAA Tournament as the No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region.
Alabama will face the Hofstra Pride in the opening round of play, as the Tide will look to get back in the win column following a shocking loss to Ole Miss in the SEC Tournament. Star guard Labaron Philon Jr. will look to stay red hot throughout the remainder of the postseason, as the dynamic playmaker has played a pivotal role in the Tide’s success throughout the entire 2025-26 campaign.
Alabama is widely regarded as one of the top teams to beat in the region outside of Michigan, as ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas recently shared his thoughts on the matchups throughout the Midwest Region after the bracket was revealed, stating that the Crimson Tide are the one team he wouldn't want to play.
Alabama currently leads the country in total points per game with 91.7. The Tide have been nothing short of elite from behind the arc this year, as Alabama has shot an extremely impressive 35.8% from three-point range throughout the regular season.
Alabama will look to keep things rolling from long range against Hofstra in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, as the Tide will look to make a serious run throughout March Madness.
