Just as everyone expected before the season started, Sam Darnold led the Seattle Seahawks to Super Bowl LX, where they beat the New England Patriots to win their second Lombardi Trophy.

During the fourth quarter, Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua seemingly poked fun at Darnold on social media, simply writing his name with a laughing emoji. Unless Darnold did something funny during the game that we’re unaware of, we can assume Nacua is laughing in disbelief that he’s a Super Bowl champion.

Former Rams and current Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones took exception to Nacua’s post and fired back, calling him a “goofy a--.”

Jones has been a big supporter of Darnold's in Seattle, so it's hardly surprising to see him come to his quarterback's defense. And as hard as it is to believe Darnold's a Super Bowl champion, he played great this season in what has been one of the most impressive career turnarounds we've seen.

Nacua was supporting his friend Cooper Kupp, posting this after the Seahawks were crowned champions.

Cooooooop

Kupp is now a two-time Super Bowl champion, having won his first ring with the Rams four years ago.
