Banking on the right clean sheets can be the difference between a green arrow and a red one in FPL.

Defensive returns often prove decisive over the course of a gameweek, and understanding which sides are most likely to shut out their opponents gives managers a real edge when setting their backline.

Outside of three points, there’s nothing Premier League managers value more than a clean sheet. The same goes for FPL managers, as clean sheets earn defenders four points and midfielders one point.
