Elijah Sarratt’s early days in Baltimore have already shown what kind of foundation he’s stepping into. The transition from college to the NFL is never simple, but his approach has been steady, grounded, and focused on absorbing everything around him. On The Lounge Podcast, Sarratt discussed what has stood out most since arriving in the Ravens’ building and how quickly he realized the level of detail required at this stage of his career.

Sarratt explained.

“Outside of the playbook I say playbook of course stands out the most just of how detailed it is it’s like I’m coming from a school where I thought like they harp on the details a lot but once you get here it’s like it’s a different level.”

Sarratt also pointed out that veteran players operate differently, saying:

“You’re talking to people who are eight-year vets they have kids and stuff so they’re kind of moving a little different than how I would move as a rookie.”

That contrast has helped him quickly understand what a professional being really means beyond just what happens on the field. Sarratt's early mindset is centered on learning rather than forcing results, and that approach has stood out inside the building. He’s focused on stacking days and adjusting to the pace rather than rushing the process. If that continues, Baltimore will have another young receiver steadily working his way into the mix.
