Learner Tien was a late substitution for Andrey Rublev who is still trying to get to Indian Wells after an extended stay in Dubai due to the Middle East unrest. Tien was exciting and creative at the net. Anisimova, the 2022 Eisenhower Cup champion when it was a women’s singles tiebreak ten event, wants to play with Tien again next year.
