Just over a month ago the Duke Blue Devils had three players selected in the 2026 NBA Draft, adding to their long list of draft picks. While the Blue Devils lost some talented players to the draft, they reloaded the roster this year.
Jon Scheyer and his staff welcome back a lot of talent from a team that reached the Elite Eight a year ago. They also welcome in a top recruiting class as well as a really good transfer portal class. There's a reason why the Blue Devils are one of the preseason favorites going into this season.
This roster is loaded and could be one of the best under Scheyer so far. So it wouldn't be surprising to see them represented well again in the NBA Draft.
On the popular draft lottery site Tankathon, they have four Blue Devils being taken in the 2027 NBA Draft. As of now, they have incoming freshman Cameron Williams going early as he lands with the Atlanta Hawks at No. 7.
The five-star recruit is one of the best recruits in the country and should make an immediate impact on the Blue Devils. It's also very possible he improves his stock and becomes another top five pick for Scheyer and the Blue Devils.
Following Williams, the site has returning center Patrick Ngongba II going in the lottery at No. 15 overall to the Golden State Warriors. Ngongba opted to return for a third season and is a player who is considered a candidate to really take a step forward in his development.
The final two Blue Devils projected to be drafted are guards Dame Sarr at No. 44 overall and Cayden Boozer at No. 55 overall. Sarr and Boozer are both going into their second season and could be surprise picks if they want to leave.
Duke could have a fifth player as John Blackwell was not included despite going through the pre-draft process this offseason before opting to play at Duke instead.
We have a long ways to go until the actual draft and the process, so this could certainly change as we go on.
