The Eagles had their first off-day of training camp on Sunday, but the team did make one roster move, announcing that they waived defensive lineman Ta’Quon Graham.

Graham was excused (not injury related) from Day 3 of practices on Saturday. He had been doing some cross training in the early days of camp, getting reps on the interior defensive line, as well.

During his five seasons with the Falcons, Graham was used at various spots along the DL, and seemed like a versatile depth player for the Eagles — especially through training camp. He recorded 51 total games, 16 starts, and made 88 total tackles and one sack. His snap count dwindled after his rookie season, but had some opportunities to contribute.

Now, the Eagles have an open roster spot, and really could use depth, especially with Jonathan Greenard sidelined due to a pec strain. Howie Roseman was asked at the start of camp about bringing in veteran legend Brandon Graham, and perhaps this open roster spot will help that happen.
