The Eagles enter training camp loaded at key offensive positions, with very few opportunities for under-the-radar players to earn a starting spot or key roles on Sean Mannion's revamped offensive unit. Philadelphia has a solid group of under-the-radar offensive players who could push for roster spots, practice squad priority, or more meaningful camp buzz than expected.
With July 28 fast approaching, we're taking a fresh look at seven under-the-radar Eagles offensive players to watch during training camp, led by Carson Steele, Darius Cooper, and Cameron Latu.
Carson Steele, RBSteele is a Physical back with size at 6-foot, 228 pounds. He gives the Eagles a different short-yardage and special teams profile behind Saquon Barkley, Tank Bigsby, Will Shipley, and Dameon Pierce.
Darius Cooper, WRCooper is A bigger receiver at 5-foot-11, 210 pounds from Tarleton State. He is buried in a crowded room, but his size and small-school production profile make him a camp name to track.
Samori Toure, WRA veteran receiver with NFL experience who could push for a back-end roster or practice squad spot, Toure has to prove he can separate, play special teams, and offer more than the younger wideouts.
Cameron Latu, TELatu is a Former Alabama tight end with size at 6-foot-5, 244 pounds. The tight end room is crowded, but Latu still has a chance to revive his stock if he blocks well and flashes as a red-zone option.
E.J. Jenkins, TEJenkins is a massive target at 6-foot-6, 245 pounds, who has been around the Eagles before. His best path is showing value as a matchup tight end, red-zone target, and special teams contributor.
Willie Lampkin, G/CAn Undersized but powerful interior lineman at 5-foot-11, 290 pounds, Lampkin gives the Eagles a different developmental profile and could push for practice squad consideration with center/guard versatility.
John Ojukwu, TOjukwu is a Developmental tackle with size at 6-foot-5, 309 pounds. The Eagles have a crowded offensive line room, but Ojukwu gives them another tackle body to evaluate behind Lane Johnson, Jordan Mailata, and the main reserves.
