The Eagles will place edge rusher Jonathan Greenard on the PUP list ahead of their first training camp practice Wednesday morning.

Greenard suffered a pectoral strain while lifting prior to training camp. The injury is not expected to keep him out long term.

During the 2026 NFL Draft, the Eagles acquired Greenard from the Vikings for two third-round picks. Philadelphia gave Greenard a four-year, $100 million extension, including $50 million fully guaranteed.

Greenard is expected to anchor Philadelphia’s pass rush. He made the Pro Bowl after recording 12 sacks in 2024 and was a Pro-Bowl candidate in 2023 after racking up 12.5 sacks. The 29-year-old broke out in Minnesota and became of the league’s best pass rushers.

Greenard had a down year last season. He only played in 12 games due to a shoulder injury and managed three sacks. Training camp was an opportunity for him to get back on track, but now he is going to miss some time.
