Eagles' OC search: Todd Monken to join John Harbaugh's Giants' staff

Former Ravens' offensive coordinator Todd Monken was expected to receive heavy interest from teams for their vacant positions this offseason. Those teams won't even have a chance to speak with him.

According to The Athletic's Dianna Russini, Monken is joining John Barbaugh's staff with the New York Giants.

Monken and Harbaugh were dismissed in Baltimore after a season-ending loss to Pittsburgh eliminated the team from playoff contention. They'll now look to turn the page in New York, where they'll be tasked with shaping the future around emerging talents Jaxson Dart, Malik Nabers, and Cam Skattebo.

Philadelphia was widely viewed as a logical landing spot for Monken, given his track record of designing schemes around mobile quarterbacks and explosive ground games. The good news is that this coaching cycle is littered with bright offensive minds, including Mike McDaniel, Brian Daboll, and Kevin Stefanski.
