Former LSU baseball star and current Nationals outfielder Dylan Crews is heating up.
Over the last seven days, Crews hit .333 with eight hits, three of which were home runs, seven runs and five RBI. He slugged .750 over that span.
The Nationals are riding a three-game win streak after taking two of three from the Rockies and taking game one from the Orioles, where Crews blasted a homer to centerfield to score his team's sixth run of the contest. In the series opener at Colorado, Crews went three for five, including two home runs, with four RBI.
Crews is batting .189 thus far in 2025. He was selected second overall by the Nationals in the 2023 MLB Draft by the Nationals following a national championship season with the Tigers. He's made 51 major league appearances following his debut in August of 2024.
There were questions about Crews after a rough first two months at the major league. If Crews can build off his recent success, he's one step closer to being the star the Nationals envisioned when they spent the No. 2 overall pick on him.
