Torquay United centre-back Jordan Dyer has signed a new contract with the club.
The 24-year-old has played 77 times for the Gulls since joining the club in the summer of 2024, scoring six times.
He is the first player to agree new terms since the club missed out on promotion back to the National League.
Torquay were beaten 3-2 after extra time at Hornchurch in their play-off final on Saturday.
"I'm delighted to extend my stay at Torquay," Dyer told the club website.
"It now feels like a second home, and once discussions started with Jimmy (Ball, the Torquay manager), it was a no-brainer. There's still unfinished business at this fantastic club."
The news comes as goalkeeper James Hamon announced on social media that he will be leaving the club at the end of his contract this summer.
