New Denver Bronco free agent addition linebacker Dre Greenlaw's signing was meant to be: just look at his social media.

The Broncos' official X page posted a side-by-side picture of Greenlaw as a young boy, wearing a Broncos jersey and Greenlaw signing his contract at the team's Englewood, Colo., headquarters.

"Dada played for the Broncos then; he plays for the Broncos now," said Greenlaw as he looked at the picture with his child. "Meant to be. Meant to be."

Another X post showed Greenlaw at age 15, asleep on a couch in a Broncos t-shirt, with Hall of Famer Peyton Manning's 18 emblazoned on it as well.

This is Dre Greenlaw at 15 yrs old, after adopted dad Brian Early + Early’s fam took him to a water park. Notice the shirt.

Early brought up this pic when they were talking through Greenlaw’s FA options.

It looks like joining the Broncos was always meant to be for the linebacker.

Greenlaw is expected to join the team for the start of their offseason workouts later this month. Denver fans will get their first opportunity to see him on the field when training camp begins in late July, then in preseason games in August.
