Draymond Green hopes to stay with Warriors

Green and the Warriors powered through the awkwardness, but the future remains a bit murky. He has a player option worth over $27 million for next season that he has to decide whether to pick up. If Green and the Warriors rework the deal, it could allow them a little more wiggle room this summer in regard to cap ramifications. The Warriors, according to a team source, are waiting to see first what Green decides to do with the option, but his hope remains that he will stay with the only team he’s ever known.
