The Miami Dolphins had 90 players on their roster during their rookie minicamp this past weekend, despite having the ability to carry 91 with Seydou Traore on a roster exemption as an International Pathway Player.

On Monday, Miami filled that final spot on their roster, signing fullback DJ Herman, who tried out for the team during the minicamp over the weekend.

Herman was a three-star prospect out of Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, before committing to San Diego State. He played linebacker for the Aztecs during his five seasons with the team, recording 56 tackles and two passes defensed.

Now, Herman is switching to offense to see if he can make an impact on that side of the ball (as well as special teams) in the NFL.
