The Miami Dolphins entered the legal-tampering period with three linebackers set to become free agents, and while they re-signed Willie Gay Jr. back on Wednesday, they lost another linebacker the same afternoon.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Dolphins linebacker K.J. Britt has agreed to sign a one-year deal with the New England Patriots once the new league year officially opens later in the day.
