While several of the Miami Dolphins' free agents have found new homes for the 2026 season, there are still over 20 members of their 2025 team looking for a place to play next year.
Late last week, NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal re-ranked the list of the top free agents available to sign with any team at this point in the offseason, and the Dolphins had one player crack the top 10, as Rosenthal ranked tight end Darren Waller as the sixth-best free agent unsigned.
"I’m as surprised as anyone he’s back on this list, but Waller’s scoring explosion was awesome in his comeback with the Dolphins," Rosenthal wrote.
Waller, 33, returned to the NFL in 2025 after a year off and went on to play in nine games for the Dolphins, catching 24 passes for 283 yards and six touchdowns.
Miami's new coaching staff and front office haven't seemed interested in bringing Waller back for 2026, as they've re-signed Greg Dulcich, brought in veteran Ben Sims and drafted Will Kacmarek and Seydou Traore.
The only free agents that Rosenthal listed above Waller are Joey Bosa, Stefon Diggs, Deebo Samuel, Kevin Zeitler and Haason Reddick.
