Despite dropping the opening game, the Los Angeles Dodgers won two straight to take the series, including a 5-1 win on Sunday.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto provided a strong outing, allowing that one earned run alongside eight hits, one walk and three strikeouts over seven innings.

He also had a career-best 13 ground-ball outs.

Offensively, the Dodgers were aided by a bases-loaded passed ball in the fourth inning that allowed Teoscar Hernandez to score.

They followed that up with a four-run fifth inning, including a two-run triple by Kyle Tucker and an Andy Pages homer that also scored Tucker.

Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Andy Pages (44) celebrates his two-run home run during the fifth inning of their game against the Milwaukee Brewers Sunday, May 24, 2026 at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Pages also had an excellent throw in from center field in the third inning to catch the Brewers’ Brice Turang at second base.

What’s next for the Dodgers?

The Dodgers (33-20) return home ahead of their three-game series against the Colorado Rockies (20-33) Monday through Wednesday.

On Monday, Emmet Sheehan will take the mound.

Sheehan (3-1) has a 4.93 ERA on the year to go with 51 strikeouts.

The Rockies had not released their probable starter as of Sunday afternoon.

Perhaps the most exciting part of the Rockies series for Dodgers fans, though, is the return of fan favorite **** Hernandez.

Hernandez has missed all of 2026 up until this point, though his return couldn’t come at a better time.

Third baseman Max Muncy took a 96 mph sinker to the wrist on Friday, and while there’s no structural damage, he’s out for the near future.

Hernandez will start at third base in his place, manager Dave Roberts said.
