The Los Angeles Dodgers have been one of the best teams in baseball heading into Wednesday.
Despite Tuesday night's extra-innings loss in the second game of three against the Miami Marlins, the Dodgers have posted the best record in baseball through 36 games.
They've managed it while having a lenthy injured list – one that has key players like Tommy Edman (ankle) and Teoscar Hernandez (abductor strain) joining it within the last eight days.

Some good news has struck the injury-riddled pitching rotation and one player will be making his return on Wednesday.
With a starting pitching rotation that has been on a nightmare of a start for the Dodgers this 2025 season.
Players like Tyler Glasnow, Blake Snell and Clayton Kershaw are just a few of the pitchers that have landed on the injured list in the young season.
Although fans will have to wait to see the return of those guys, right handed starter Landon Knack will be returning on Wednesday and make his first start since April 15.
In the move made in Wednesday morning, Los Angeles will be optioning relief pitcher JP Feyereisen.
Knack has been dealing with forearm tightness in his throwing arm.
His stats before the injury haven't look all that impressive – giving up nine hits, six walks, seven runs with seven strikeouts in 8.2 innings pitched.
Los Angeles will look to Knack to lead them in a series-clinching game in the third and last game of a series against the Marlins.
