Heading into the 2026 season, one of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ biggest concerns lied within their bullpen.

They signed All-Star closer Edwin Diaz to alleviate those worries, but the right-hander landed on the injured list with loose bodies in his elbow and will remain sidelined until the second half of the season. The bullpen needed to step up to keep the Dodgers in contention, and step up they have.

Dodgers relievers have pitched 38 consecutive scoreless innings, which is the longest scoreless inning streak from any team’s bullpen since Cleveland reached 38.2 scoreless innings in 2017.

The last run the Dodgers allowed came against the San Francisco Giants on May 12, when Blake Treinen let a single run cross in a loss. Treinen has since pitched in four games, spanning 3.2 innings, and has allowed just one hit. The veteran right-hander isn’t the only pitcher performing well, though.

Which Dodgers Relievers Have Stepped Up?

The Dodgers have several relievers who have performed well during this stretch, but Kyle Hurt has stood out among them. Hurt didn’t begin the season with the team, as the Dodgers wanted him to slowly ramp up following several long stints on the injured list, but has been an invaluable asset since joining the MLB club ahead of schedule.

He allowed a run in his first outing of the year, but has been nearly perfect since. The right-hander has made 14 appearances since, and has prevented his opponents from scoring even once. He has a 0.60 ERA on the year, pairing nicely with his 0.87 WHIP.

Tanner Scott has quietly had a fantastic year so far, and is on a scoreless streak of his own. Scott last allowed a run against the Chicago Cubs on April 24, and has thrown 10.1 scoreless innings since. He has a season ERA of 1.25, and looks to be the All-Star the Dodgers wanted him to be when they signed him to a four-year deal ahead of 2025.

The Dodgers have turned one of their biggest weaknesses into a strength early in the 2026 season, and with a few of their biggest names on the mend, they’re sure to get even better as the season progresses.

How long can the Dodgers’ streak continue?
