Dodge's return to the NASCAR Truck Series has been amazing for the sport. Kaulig Racing has taken advantage of the partnership with Ram, landing several big drivers for its "Free Agent" No. 25 truck. However, could Dodge make the jump to the NASCAR Cup Series for the 2027 season?
It would be a bit of a surprise and a huge scramble for Dodge to enter the Cup Series for the 2027 NASCAR season, as reported by FOX Sports' Bob Pockrass. It was always a stretch for Dodge to spend one year in the Truck Series and jump to NASCAR's top level, as it takes time to make this process work.
Kaulig Racing has been improving in the Truck Series, and Dodge would be wise not to rush the process of entering the Cup Series. There will be a day when Dodge is the fourth manufacturer in the Cup Series; however, don't expect it to be during the 2027 NASCAR season.
