Cincinnatians, you can breathe a sigh of relief, because baseball is back!
The Reds kicked off the 2026 regular season March 26 with an unfortunate 3-0 loss to the Boston Red Sox at Great American Ball Park, the start of a six-game homestand. But will the Reds take the field again Friday, March 27?

The Reds are not scheduled to play March 27. They always have the day after Opening Day off.

The Cincinnati Reds opted to have MLB produce and distribute their game broadcasts in 2026. However, in a March 9 press release, the Reds announced a "number of" regular-season games will broadcast on Fox 19 (WXIX-TV) in Cincinnati.
Fans in the Reds' regional TV territory can watch all locally distributed Reds games via cable and satellite providers or stream digitally on REDS.TV through the MLB app. Fans who live outside the regional area can still watch by subscribing to MLB.TV. Visit mlb.com/reds for more information.
