(WFRV) – Brewers pitcher DL Hall took another step toward his return to the big leagues on Sunday afternoon, making a rehab start for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
Hall, who has been sidelined since early June with a left pectoral strain, threw a scoreless inning while striking out one batter on 15 pitches. The left-hander called it the perfect outing in his recovery process and said he felt good leaving after just one inning.
Hall will continue his rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville this upcoming week before rejoining the Milwaukee Brewers.
“Man, I can’t wait to get back in the jungle with the fellas. It’s super exciting. Obviously a really good team. The guys are incredible. It’s been fun to be a part of and definitely makes you itch to get through the rehab process a little bit quicker”, Hall told the media.
Despite Hall’s scoreless outing, the Timber Rattlers were held without a hit by Quad Cities, falling 11-0.
