The Diamondbacks are on Apple TV for their 6:45 p.m. MST matchup with the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday night, July 3.
Fans looking to tune in should know that this game is not airing on Dbacks.TV, the main usual outlet for the team's televised games. Tonight's game will be streamed exclusively on Apple TV.
That means no local broadcasters on TV. Instead, it will be Wayne Randazzo (play-by-play), Dontrelle Willis (analyst) and Heidi Watney (sideline reporter) on the call.
Pregame coverage begins at 6 p.m. MST (9 p.m. Eastern) with the “Friday Night Baseball” pregame show, which is hosted by Lauren Gardner, former MLB All-Star player Eric Hosmer and insider Russell Dorsey.
During the broadcast, former umpires Dale Scott and Ted Barrett will break down the rules and calls.
Diamondbacks RHP Jose Cabrera (0-1, 3.60) vs. Brewers LHP Kyle Harrison (8-1, 2.57).
At Chase Field: Cabrera made his second start in the majors last weekend in Tampa, where he gave up four runs in five innings. He gave up a pair of homers, a solo shot to 3B Junior Caminero and a two-run blast to 1B Jonathan Aranda. … In his major league debut six days earlier, Cabrera tossed five-plus scoreless innings against the Twins. … Cabrera has thrown his cutter, which averages 90 mph, more than anything else in his six-pitch repertoire. He has elicited solid whiff rates on his sweeper, curveball and changeup, though the sweeper was the pitch Aranda hit for a homer. … Harrison has been a breakout pitcher this season for the Brewers, who acquired him from the Boston Red Sox days before spring training. … He has struck out seven or more batters in seven of his 15 starts. He has elicited 14 whiffs in a game seven times this season; the Diamondbacks’ entire rotation has only eight such games this season. … Harrison gave up two runs in five innings against the Cubs in his most recent start.

Monday, July 6: At San Diego, 6:40 p.m., Diamondbacks RHP Brandon Pfaadt (1-1, 5.40) vs. Padres RHP Walker Buehler (5-4, 4.61).
