Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season will continue on this afternoon with an NFC South showdown featuring Carolina Panthers visiting the New Orleans Saints at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
The Saints got to play the role of spoiler by going on the road and scoring a surprise 24-20 win over the Buccaneers last Sunday, a result that greatly benefitted their opponent this afternoon. Running back Devin Neal was a central figure of that upset and he’s continuing to take advantage of the extra reps that he’s getting late in the year.
Below, we’ll go over Neal’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 15.
Fantasy Football analysis: Saints RB Devin Neal
Neal played a huge role in that victory over the Bucs, taking 19 carries for 70 yards and a first-quarter touchdown that opened up the scoring action for the afternoon. That performance marked a new career high for the sixth-round rookie out of Kansas and it allowed him to finish as a top-15 fantasy running back in all scoring formats for the week.
Neal is getting these opportunities due to Alvin Kamara’s MCL sprain and it bodes well for his prospects of even more playing time in 2026. As for now, the Saints will keep feeding the first-year upstart and maybe create some momentum for themselves to end the season.
Start or sit in Week 15?
Start. Kamara has been ruled out once again for the Saints, meaning Neal will have the green light to once again get a bulk of the work out of the backfield. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him put up similar numbers to what he did last week, especially against a Carolina defense that ranks 24th in rushing EPA. Start him.
