Devin Booker is currently at 12 missed games this season. He'll miss at least four this week until the re-evaluation, bringing his total to 16. As a reminder, you're allowed to miss 17 and still be eligible for All-NBA.

A freaking week for a hip strain?

This isn’t a comment on Booker, it’s a comment on the whole nba: these players are soft these days. I was watching the Siul Power documentary regarding the ABA. Those guys never missed games, did no training, had no nutritionist, and the game was physical with hockey-type fights.

I agree... and I think most of it has to do with the ultra ridiculous big ass money all pro athletes make these days.

I guarantee their agents and personal managers force them to sit out for extended periods every time they get a minor ouch because the risk of exacerbating any minor injury potentially impacts making a few more years of zillion dollar income further down the line, pride of competition or helping your team win in the present be damned.

Anyone remember that hip injury he had way back, pre-covid for sure, where his hip totally locked up on him (while standing) and he had to be carried off the court?

Not that this has anything to do with it, but it was one of the strangest injuries I'd seen, looked like dislocated it or something and, if I recall, he was back within a couple games.

If this team can't get healthy together, they are never going to be cohesive at the end of the season. Sheesh!

Jordan Ott said Devin Booker is in a good spot today after playing in 5-on-5 with some other rotation players yesterday.

Injury report comes out later today ahead of tomorrow's game in Sacramento

Hope everyone gets a chance to recuperate during this long break because it's getting rough. There's a 3 games in 4 nights home stretch after this away game, followed by a lengthy road trip with two separate 3 in 4nights, followed by a 3 in 4 when they get home.

Phoenix has 22 games left, 9 at home, 13 on the road. 12 of them are a part of back to backs, 6 at home, 6 on the road.

they gotta make major hay out of the next 6 games. this is the easiest stretch of the year - if Book's healthy and we want to make a legit run at getting out of the play-in tourney, this is where we need to rip off 5 of 6 Ws to make up for the mini-collapse before and after the all-Star break.

The Lakers, in comparison, have only 3 sets of back to back games through the rest of their schedule, and one of the b2b's has a 2 day rest in front of it. Going to be tough to catch...
