After two rough games in Cleveland, the Pistons return to Detroit for Game 5 and a chance to take the lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals series against the Cavaliers.
Detroit let a 2-0 series lead slip away in three days, punctuated by a 112-103 Game 4 loss that wasn't nearly as close as the final score suggests. Cleveland dominated the third quarter, with Donovan Mitchell tying a postseason record for most points scored in a half with 39 second-half points. The Pistons only attempted 12 free throws compared to the Cavaliers' 34, but turnovers and bad play also contributed to the loss.
The good news for the Pistons is they've won their last five playoff games at Little Caesars Arena, and the Cavs have yet to win a road game in these playoffs. Home-court advantage has been vital in these playoffs for Detroit, along with health as three Pistons are listed as questionable for Game 5.
