Derry City will start their League of Ireland Premier Division campaign at home to Sligo Rovers at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium on Friday, 6 February.

The league's opening weekend will also see Bohemians host St. Patrick's Athletic on Sunday, 8 February (14:00 GMT).

Tiernan Lynch's side were runners-up to Shamrock Rovers last season with their 1-0 win over the Bit O' Red in October proving key in securing European football for the 2026-27 campaign.

Not only will their campaign start against Sligo, but it will end against the same opponents on Friday, 30 October.

Six days prior to the league opener, the Candystripes will contest the Men's President's Cup against Rovers at Tallaght Stadium.

Derry's first visit to the champions in the league comes in an away fixture on 6 March.
