Maryland Terrapins center Derik Queen likely hit the biggest shot of his NCAA tournament run against Colorado State.

The No. 12 seed Rams had the No. 4 seed Terps on the ropes. With six seconds remaining in regulation, Colorado State nailed a massive 3-point shot to go up 71-70. However, what Maryland had up its sleeve will likely be discussed for a long time. Queen received the inbound pass and took it from the top of the key into the paint with a Rams player plastered all over him.

He seemingly euro-stepped ― or possibly traveled; you didn't hear that from me ― and pulled up for a jumper. SWISH. Game-winning buzzer-beater for a date with the Sweet 16. WHEW. MARCH MADNESS. Queen reportedly told Maryland coach Kevin Willard to give him the ball. Where does that confidence come from to ask for the ball with the game on the line? " I'm from Baltimore. That's why," Queen said postgame.
