Denver's snow had fans turning CBS reporter Evan Washburn into a meme

When they said snow was expected in Denver during Sunday's AFC Championship Game between the Patriots and Broncos, they really meant it. But you best believe that CBS sideline reporter Evan Washburn wasn't going to wear a hat.

What started as flurries in the first half ultimately became white-out conditions in the second half at Empower Field at Mile High, and it made for a wild broadcast. Still, that didn't stop Washburn from working the sidelines to give his normal reports for viewers watching at home.

Yet, rather than just play Washburn's audio feed for his in-game reports, CBS opted to give fans a stand-up shot. And oh man, the production crew knew exactly what it was doing with that decision. Washburn was basically becoming Jack Frost in real time.
