Denny Hamlin is on an absolute heater.

Hamlin captured his third consecutive NASCAR Cup Series victory Sunday at Pocono Raceway, extending a remarkable run that began with wins at Nashville Superspeedway and Michigan International Speedway.

The veteran driver has looked nearly untouchable over the past month, combining elite speed, flawless execution and the kind of confidence that can carry a driver deep into the playoffs. Just a few weeks ago, Hamlin was one of several championship contenders. Now, he may be the favorite.

Toyota’s speed has played a major role in the surge. The manufacturer has consistently unloaded fast race cars, and Hamlin has taken full advantage. Whether it’s short runs, long runs or late-race restarts, the No. 11 team continues to find itself at the front of the field.

For Hamlin, the winning streak only adds to one of the most impressive careers in NASCAR history. The question, however, remains the same.

Can he finally win the championship?

Hamlin has won races, crown-jewel events and nearly everything else the sport has to offer. A Cup Series title remains the lone missing piece on his Hall of Fame resume.

If he keeps driving like this, 2026 may finally be the year that changes.
