Who's ready to step up?

I say Johnson.

You know Section...I've been all wrong...I feel that the Cardinals not only should draft Leftwich, they need to draft Leftwich...I don't know why I've had the change in heart, but I'm with you man!

Dennis Johnson did nothing to excite anyone last season. He looks like he's a good 2-3 years away from contributing. To say that we don't need to acquire a pass rusher because Dennis Johnson is ready to bust out is pure wishful thinking.

That said, i think DJ is going to be a pro bowl caliber player. Not now, though.

If he is going to develop like they think he is (Graves already has mentioned that his time to prove himself is coming), then they might as well start seeing what he can do in 2003.

Absolutely.

He was a first round caliber talent, but he came out way too early. This year, had the stayed in school, he would have been a much higher draft pick than a 3rd rounder.

The dude is huge and has obvious natural talent. When that is refined, he can end up being a Mike Rucker type player.

I saw the guy briefly at the Cards facility and I couldn't believe how lanky he was. Long arms are one thing every great pass rusher has.

well, it all started a long time ago. on a draft board far far away...

not to get off topic, but they guy who played darth vader in the last movie could quite possibly be the worst actor of all time.

No worse than the kid playing Anikin in Episode One...

More off topic: Did you know that the actor who physically played Darth Vader in the orginal Star Wars (English body-builder David Prowse) didn't know that his voice wasn't going to be used in the final cut until he saw the finished product on opening night? Lucas had him come and voice over for the movie, and then replaced him with James Earl Jones.

You mean working out like a madman that actually enjoys tackling?

Or spending the most important summer of your life to date partying?

Draft Leftwich!

I always liked Richard Jeni's stand-up routine where he suggests that during the safety presentation on a flight the stewardesses should say "In the unlikey event of a lose of cabin pressure the voice of James Earl Jones will come on saying "Holy Mother Of God!"

Draft Leftwich!

why can't I stop saying that?!?!?

Draft Leftwich!
