Another year, another jam-packed lineup for Drum Corps International (DCI). The 2026 season is finally underway.

DCI is the premier governing body for the world's most elite marching ensembles, and the annual summer tour features some of the fiercest competition of the year. Dozens of international drum corps, DrumLine Battle teams and SoundSport performance ensembles prepare all year for these events.


The 2026 DCI Tour will kick off with a preview in Muncie, Indiana, before heading into the summer schedule. This year's circuit will visit Texas, California, Pennsylvania and more before returning to Indiana for the World Championships in August.

What is DCI?​

Drum Corps International is the governing body for marching music competitions in the United States. The collective was created in 1971 by 13 original founding members with the goal of organizing and unifying youth-focused competitive drum corps events throughout North America. Honoring the message of "excellence in performance and in life," DCI serves more than 7.2 million young people across the country.
