Good news forsure. Hopefully he and AJ stay hot and Goldy can start bouncing back.

Hope we get the sweep like you called Ronin.

Goldy now 2 for 2. Seems like forever since we've been as to say that! Looks like he is trying to take everything to right field... Might be a way for him to find his groove again...

He was in a bad slump and went 4-5 a few weeks ago and then went into another spiral. Hopefully this continues.

I have no idea why Hale didn't have Godley start.

They are controlling his pitch count. He is beyond the point of starting any more games for the rest of the season.

'A great weapon to have with Collmenter for long relief. We have needed it a lot lately.

Let's hope yesterday's performance by Goldy was a "breaking out" and not an outlier. Very interesting that every ball he hit yesterday went to the right side of the diamond. This means???????

According to BB, Chase is not getting the strike calls that Iglesias is. Still, we are leading in the 5th. So far, a good sign for Chase. But he appears to be losing some of it. He may not be around beyond the 5th.

A sweep would be nice.
'Glad that Peralta was thinking the same thing. 4-0 in the bottom of the 8th.

I have been wondering during Goldie's extended slump if he has been having eye problems. He has seemed to contort his face in the batter's box.

Today, he was squinting as the pitcher delivered the ball. Granted, it is a day game but, for the past half season, night games have begun in daylight.

When you squint, you narrow your field of vision. Perhaps he needs a visit to an opthamologist. The solution might be as simple as tinted lenses. Or corrective action might be needed.

We did exactly what we were supposed to do against a very bad and disheartened Reds team... 4 game sweep and now a game above .500! Cmon Astros!!
