Jun. 17—Jeremy Jenkins, a 6-foot-9 forward in the class of 2027, listed the Dayton Flyers among his top-10 options, according to a report on Tuesday, June 16, by Joe Tipton, of Rivals.com.
Jenkins is considering Dayton, Indiana, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, Florida State, North Carolina State, Washington, Xavier, West Virginia and Virginia Tech.
Jenkins is from Miami, Fla., which is familiar recruiting territory for Dayton head coach Anthony Grant and associate head coach James Kane, both natives of South Florida.
Jenkins attended Riviera Preparatory School until playing in the Overtime Elite league in Georgia in the 2025-26 season. He'll return to Riviera for his senior season. He's the No. 35 recruit in the 2027 class, according to Rivals and No. 39, according to 247Sports.com.
Dayton will have three 2026 recruits on its 2026-27 roster (Julian Washington, Aiden Derkack and Cody Peck). It has yet to receive a commitment from a member of the 2027 recruiting class but has made a number of scholarship offers. Here's a list of 2027 players who have received Dayton offers:
